About these terms

These terms govern the provision of vehicle damage estimating services by Best Estimating (Lewis Killick, trading as Brighton Estimate Support Team), 16 Welland Road, Worthing, West Sussex, BN13 3NP. By requesting or receiving services, you agree to these terms.

The service

Best Estimating provides remote vehicle damage estimates for insurance claims and bodyshop use. Estimates are prepared using Audatex or GT Motive estimating software based on information and photographs provided by the client.

Client responsibilities

To receive an estimate, the client must provide:

• Accurate vehicle details (make, model, year, VIN)
• Correct insurer and claim information
• Clear JPEG photographs from all required angles
• Any additional notes relevant to the damage or claim

Estimates are based solely on the information and images provided. Best Estimating accepts no liability for inaccuracies arising from incomplete or misleading information supplied by the client.

Turnaround guarantee

We aim to deliver estimates within 24 hours of receiving a complete file. The 24-hour clock begins when we confirm receipt of all required information. If the deadline is missed through no fault of the client, the estimate will be provided free of charge. This guarantee does not apply where delays are caused by incomplete documentation or information provided by the client.

Payment

Invoices are issued upon delivery of the estimate. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue payments in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.

Limitation of liability

Estimates are prepared in good faith using industry-standard software and professional judgement. Best Estimating is not liable for insurer rejections, supplement disputes, or outcomes arising from hidden damage discovered after vehicle strip-down. Supplementary estimates for hidden damage can be provided at the standard rate.

Confidentiality

All client information, vehicle details, and claim data are treated as confidential and will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to deliver the agreed service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
